“Too Drunk To Drive” was inspired by watching a close friend battle the quiet, complicated heartbreak of outgrowing a long-term relationship that began when they were far too young. The song captures the emotional tug-of-war between wanting to walk away and being guilted into staying — a cycle that leaves you feeling lost, unsteady, and unable to see the road ahead clearly. Raw, honest, and deeply human, Too Drunk To Drive explores the moment you realise love shouldn’t feel like obligation, and leaving is the only way to finally move forward.

About Craig McMorrow

Craig McMorrow is an Irish singer-songwriter based in Edinburgh, known for his raw honesty, soulful voice, and heartfelt storytelling. Originally from Leitrim, Craig’s musical journey started in the heart of rural Ireland, where he was steeped in traditional folk and the soulful classics of artists like Frank Sinatra and The Four Tops — a soundtrack often shared with his grandad.

What began as a love for Irish music and dance evolved into a sound uniquely his own — a fusion of acoustic soul, southern rock, and modern country. Drawing inspiration from the likes of Damien Rice, Chris Stapleton, Dermot Kennedy, Glen Hansard, and The Allman Brothers, Craig has found his voice in a genre-bending blend that captures both vulnerability and grit.

Over the years, Craig has grown from intimate acoustic sets to commanding some of Europe and America’s bigger stages. He’s shared lineups with acts like Ryan McMullan, Foy Vance, Hermitage Green, and Meclir, and made a national appearance on The Voice (RTE), where he reached the live shows.

Now rooted in Edinburgh, Craig continues to craft music that speaks to life, love, loss, and the quiet strength that carries us through it all. With a signature sound that's both nostalgic and fresh, his songs connect across generations — honest, relatable, and deeply human.
